Code of Nature
Code of Nature is a permanent generative AI installation at Samsung Space in Eschborn, Germany, developed in collaboration with Samsung. The work uses the building's entrance display as a changing environment that reflects the conditions around the site rather than repeating a fixed media loop.
The system operates across four chapters: Dawn, Growth, Horizon, and Impressions. Environmental metrics, building data, and time of day guide the behavior of each chapter, so morning can bring quieter forms, midday can introduce growth, evening can shift toward landscape, and night can move into AI-interpreted forest scenes.
As a studio project, Code of Nature brings together concept development, chapter design, generative AI workflows, custom visualization, and long-duration runtime planning. The result is a permanent architectural artwork designed to stay responsive, legible, and site-specific over time.
