Neo Botanica
Neo Botanica was a curated group exhibition at LOAD Gallery in Barcelona accompanied by the Neo Botanica Atlas published by Vetro Editions. Phenomena Labs contributed Rococo Diffusion Artifacts, a series of AI-generated botanical compositions built through custom diffusion models and generative processes.
The project situates Tanchum's work within a larger international field of artists reimagining botanical form through machine learning, simulation, and code. Ornament, flower, archive, and artifact become ways to ask what a plant image becomes when it is produced by synthetic systems.
For the studio, Neo Botanica functions as both exhibition context and research frame. It connects the Rococo body of work to a wider conversation about artificial flora, digital materiality, and the future of botanical representation in contemporary image culture.
